When i think back to when i had mine painted in 1997,it went in on a friday night, and was ready on the sunday evening (same weekend) and that cost me £700 That was inside the boot area, under the bonnet, outside and door shuts . Bargain i say . And that was at a ford dealer . Did someone say back hander

I'm not getting into costs but you're not particularly close Kev.

Dave - I'm hoping to have it back a week or 2 before xmas. got to clean out the garage and sort out the bloody cossie (not to mention get shot of the diesel nightmare!) before i get too stuck into the escort again!

anyone got space for 4 or 5 sets of split rims?

a little birdie tells me there may be some photos appearing later... been expecting some for a couple of days but as I've just been reminded... it's not what you know, it's who you know

need to get the wheels sorted asap.

    Re: Mk 2 Project

Right heres what we've all been waiting for, the pics that even Mark wasn't allowed to see

Sorry about quality, but they are top secret spy shots!!

I think you'll agree that once the crappy wheels are replaced by big fat split rims and it starts to get reassembled it will look the absolute dogs danglies

Pics don't do it justice, especially how shiny it actually is and how good the grey interior looks

Sorry, but my cossie seems to have got into shot

Looks cracking mark whens it due home??? And il give a hand too if you need it

Just one thing though, cant really tell from the ps pic but isnt the stripe on the bonnet meant to come to the outside of the wings not the outsides of the bonnet???? As it looks odd to me but the rest looks spanking
