Not yet, still trying to sort a loom, its the final hurdle and its taking the longest to sort out

He has had a visit from Dave young, the guy who done Ickys loom in the white Duratec mk2. He has done work for many F1 teams and alot of escorts.
He said he could make a loom in 2 weeks approx. So to save a bit of money he is just going to have a basic loom done to work the lights, wipers etc. Then at a later date add to the loom and get the traction control, paddle shift working
He is definately keeping it now

Im just wondering kev, what intercooler and rad set up is he and yourself using?
I dont know if you remember that I was rebuilding mine and im goin cosworth power so need all the hints n tips I can get lol

Hi mate, he is using all sierra stuff like i am in mine. He has a 50mm core rad and intercooler by Pro Alloy.
But if you dont want to chop the inner wings about to fit sierra stuff you can get the pro alloy kit for the mk2 escort. Its around £900 in the burton book. But if you ring pro alloy direct they maybe able to do you a deal if you collect and pay cash My mate Dave got his for around £630

I really did fancy the pro alloy coolong package, although iv heard theres no room for swirl pot
Id rather try keep all the bits thats on my doner Saph coz she's all set up and I know it works well.

Very cool, one question. Why use a swirl pot ? Are they only needed on YB's ?

The swirl pot gets rid of small air bubbles in the water system and helps with air locks

Jason got the ECU mounted today and had some good news from the guy doing the wiring loom
It is being trailored to a workshop this saturday and it will stay there for 3 weeks until its done. Thats everything wired up, traction, paddle shift etc
My brother weent over there tonight and put the car back on the floor and took a couple of pics
