    Stunning as ever

No problem about the pics, if you need anything else, give me a shout.

Might be worth checking out my brochures and letting me know if you want any more scanned in larger.

Interior update, RS 500 and Request ..

    Hi,

I've been busy on the interior :

Thought you might like to see this - another 3D modeller is doing an RS 500 :

You can see his thread at : CGTalk BB - 3D Graphics BB

    REQUEST:

Does anyone have a pic of the rear interior of the 2-door MK1. I can see from my model that the rear wheel arch must come into the interior - A pic showing the side-panel and seat would be great !!!!

    Re: Silver ! I\'ve cracked it :)

Thanks for all the comments guys !

OK ... I've been working away on lots of little things - still working away on the interior. Its at that stage where it doesn't appear to be moving forward, but a lot of essential little details are being made.

The idea of me making it in a typical lock-up with oils stains, welders etc ... is actually VERY interesting ! Get your cameras ready !

I am now going off on holiday for 3 weeks ... I NEED it. Going to get away from the computer for a little while ... if anybody knows someone who is actually selling a real RS2000 - let me know. Seriously !

Here is a little update (now converted to type49 shell) :

Hi Dave can this be done in Autodesk Inventor 5 software? As you say you need dimensions to get parts correct. Top job, always wanted to do something like that or know how to do it.

    Handouts at Castle Combe ???

FasterFords: Thanks for letting me know. No, I did not know that. Does anyone have one of these handouts - who was handing them out ? And advertising what ? Was it images I posted here ?

Bit cheeky to use it without having the courtesy to get in touch with me - not to say illegal to plagiarise someones hard work.

Whoever was using my images for advertising ... drop me a line...

duncan : Mmm ... I haven't made any bigwings yet. Colour scheme would be possible but take a bit of work. And I haven't finished the standard interior yet !!

NR_Boyz : I think the software you mention is more industrial - I am using Studio 3D Max (registered) which is more geared towards graphics/film/games industry. If you want to try it out without paying £3,000 you could try the free games version Gmax, or download the full 3D Max 6 demo (works for 1 month) from the Discreet web site . It is a complex program !
