    wastegate

    where can i get an external wastegate for my rst?

    You would need a manifold specially for the job although I've have heard of sandwich plates to do the same job. The sandwich plate isn't however any good for an RST cause the turbo would hit the radiator.

    I have seen a manifold for an RST with an external waste gate done by AVA in glasgow but it was for a massive turbo for a race application.

    Overkill on price and usability on the road I would guess.

    its easily done but it begs the question why its expensive when you already have a wastegate

    much money for just a noise get a TURBO SMART dump valve they make a great noise

    ok i know i should really email turbosmart but can i use one of their really loud dump valves on my escort rst because of the twin piston type they need?
