    Radtec intercooler fitting

When fitting the cooler do a remove the slight bulge on the bottom ledge as seen in this pic?

The bottom of the radtec radiator is a flat panel (imagine a radiator with a flange extending down about 3-4 inches from the lower, rear edge) and designed to go flush up against the box section and fasten with included self-tapping bolts - you *might* need to alter the radiator slightly so that it fits around the bulge on that box section. I'd do that, rather than modify that box section.

Is that a mk2? My mk1 has a flat box section there.

On my mk1 I removed the side panels and trimmed the back of the slam panel slightly (would probably have fit without doing so) and the rad and intercooler fit like a glove. Is it the box section that is causing the trouble?

It's not the best picture in the world, but mine fits pretty close to the slam panel:

I don't have anything showing the fitting at the back or bottom through, sorry.

i reckon the front panels must be different on the cone nose as it seems like more space in yours near the grill.
