If someone tells you that ERS turbo Recaro's will bolt straight to Sierra subframes, dont believe em!!!

the same as fiesta turbo seats dont bolt onto escort or sierra subframes all width related i think??

yeah, wasnt to hard to sort out the passenger side, just turned one of the mounts around on the seat and drilled some new holes, drivers side was a bitch cos i wanted to keep the height adjustment, had the whole seat apart so i could weld a couple of brackets on it, still its done now and i dont slide about in the original seats designed for fat manager types any more!

The Recaros are much better, they are lower down and slightly further back, so better for me being six an half foot tall, they are a bit tatty, but they were free and im gonna have the interior retrimmed in half leather once i got me engine sorted anyway.

I had sierra subframes on my s1rst recaros, dude snapped the frame to get it to reach the mounts one side and made little metal brackets for the other

mine are in nice and strong on the proper sierra frames to the proper mounts (well, the rear subframe mounts on the drivers seat are actually welded to the bottom of the seat pan now! lol) in the seat and floor mate, i value my head!!!
