5.1 lsd too short for the road?

I've seen a 5.1 LSD axle for sale and was wondering if this will be too short to really be usable on the road?

    Cheers,

    Mark.

all depends on what size wheels you run on your car.
I had a 5.1 atlas in my race car with 16" wheels and a 5 speed box and that was good for over 150mph.

If you search for 'gear speed calculations' on here, there is a thread with a link to a downloadable gear speed calculator. That is the best way to work it out. Maverick, was that at 9k
