Dont think Doug makes them anymore as I seem to remember he sold one to a lad of PF who then copied it and was selling them slightly cheaper.

Strange design that sump. The bit the other side of the starter motor dip will just trap a big bubble of air.

Sorry to thread hijack but Doug, did you ever come up with a design to uprate and baffle a standard RS2000 sump??
    Cheers

no doug, its a touring car sump he made them for andy rouse there are 4 gates not 3 and you carnt run the dipstick as it stop the gate moveing and design to hold the same amount of oil each side, and he bespokes the strainer to fit 5mm of the bottom of the sump truley is a work of art. its welded inside and out, ask joe at gs motosport even he agrees

Just to add another option to this thread ( yes I know the last post was a year and a half ago) but to fit an RS2000 sump with a Cosworth bottom end, I took the spray bar from a Cossy pickup and grafted that to an RS2000 pickup.
It would have fitted if I had not punctured the spay bar and had to have a larger tube fitted by a more competent metal artist.
There was a little fettling of the windage plate and I had to have a half tube of ally welded on to take the now bigger spray bar.
All in all quite a simple job.
