I was passed by an Imp on a track day at Castle Combe once, I was in a Mk1 Mexico, doing 105mph on the final straight, this thing left me for dead, must have been doing at least 130mph!!

As the session ended I was reliably informed by a spectating friend that he was all over the back of a Saff Cossie about to have that as well!!

    Astonishing little car.

still wouldn't have one though [img]

1990. 500+ bhp and no traction control. Andy Rouse spins up the rear tyres as he tries very hard to get a better grid
position in the last few seconds of qualifying.

It would appear not. Duke video have a list of old videos but nothing of this period.

    Duke Video BTTC list

I have some of these races on video recorded from the BBC, but where they are I have no idea as the house is still upside down from moving back in January [img]. All my car stuff has assumed very low prority when it comes to sorting stuff out [img] [img] [img]

    Re: Some classic TOCA Pix.

Iv'e got a number of videos with these super cossie's inc:
    The 19.88 Dunlop RAC B.T.C.Championship..
    The 19.89 Esso B.T.C.Championship..
    The 19.90 Esso B.T.C.Championship..
One of these has got the Birmingham Super Prix on it, and it is a fantastic race from what i remember.. [img] [img]
All Virgin Video productions via Duke ..
    Also worth checking out : 19.85 Donington 500 & Istel T.T...
Which has the very first cosworths versis Supra's and rover Sdi's. [img] And lastly from Duke a great title is the Bathurst series from 19.87 to 19.90 with 500 bhp cars from the likes of Dick Johnson who i believe sold them to Robb Gravetts Trackstar team... [img] [img]

Glad you two like the Rouse Cossie picture.

I was the one standing there taking it - even more impressive in full colour with 500bhp soundtrack. [img]

It was a good while ago but this is one of my abiding Superprix memories. (Along with John Cleland 2 wheeling his Cavalier round the first corner, but I didn't manage to get any pictures of that).

My PC is dead again at the moment but I will see what else I can find.

I also think iv'e got some early video footage of the first 3 door Cosworth's in 1985 or 86.. [img] [img]
