spark plug blown out of my engine wtf?

just cruising along in my audi today and hear large bang and then continous banging. Stop and have a look and sparkplug has been blown out the head. How the hell does that happen. has the plug been unwinding itself cos the thread on the lowest third has gone and the rest seems alright.


Was a bit of a sight as all these kids were watching and a number of dogs started barking

Its normally when they are done up too tight and the thread starts to strip!
