Wider wheels, what are my options?

Right, I'd like to fit those popular 'deep dish' 13 x 7J minilites on my escort MK1. Offset ET-7

from what I've read these won't bolt straight on without problems, so what are my options?

In the front I'd rather not change the wings and install the mexico ones (due to price and work involved)

And in the back is the best way to get round it by installing a shorter axle? (I saw somewhere that maybe an Anglia axle would do the job)

Anyone have any experience with this or any other suggestions?

On the front you will be ok as long as you use 175/50r13 tyres and roll the lip over.
On the back you will have to use an Anglia van axle. The Anglia car axle is too narrow.
