Zetec E and Zetec S

Just a reminder for me really..

Am i right in saying the Zetec E is the silver or black top zetec as fitted to mondeos etc for the last ages?

The Zetec S is the VVT one as fitted to racing Puma?

Mostly right!! The ZETEC S (or SE) was used in 1.25, 1.4, 1.6 and 1.7 (puma only, both normal and Racing versions) capacities in Fiestas, Focuses and Pumas. Escorts and old shape mondeos only had the ZETEC E. There is a guide to ZETEC E engine numbers on my website.
