    BROKEN RS1600 1:18 - Fixable??

My wonderful son pulled the car of the shelf and the door boke off
(He is only 1yr so still learning - and so am I (no decent stuff within reach of a 1yr old!!! )

Looking at it there is nothing broken but I do not know how to put it back together. It is a Minichamps 1:18 ford escort I RS 1005 'AVO' - 1970 model (you know the ones - advertised in classic ford etc). It seems to have a hinge of sorts but doesn't look like it will just click back in - I don't want to break it trying, so - anyone out there can help me?
Sorry the pic is a bit crap - my camera is poo!

looking at my one there looks like there is a pin running through the plastic bit on the door that slots into the plastic bit on the car, if you can make sense of that

Just weld it shut then weld the other side shut. ala Dukes of hazard styli.

Just don't use an arc welder they don't work so well on plastic.

WELD IT! bugger me never thought of that! Top plan, especially as most of the door is metal (sort of like Merlin really!!!)
Can't find no pin, nor a place for a pin... I think the plastic hinge on the door may need sort of opening like with a small screwdriver sort of thing - but then how do you put it back on the door frame???

Top lad, first job on any car, whip the doors off, bonnet, boot and running gear next......

hit it with a hammer, and the car, stick a 1:18 tree next to it and hey presto.... a rally scene..

Sorry not very helpfull am I... have you a model shop near you (shut it Popup) you could nip it in there and see what the guy behind the counter can do.

The (shut it Popup) bit, if you havn't met him yet, you will do....

Class comment - that made me laugh
Good point about the model shop though (especially if one of popups!)
