fuel tank sender with standard guage
has anyone found a fuel tank sender that will fit in one of the alloy shaped fuel tanks and work correctly with the standard 6 dial guages?

As the resistance range of the standard gauge will most likely be different to any after market sender you need an interface between the two. Do a Google search for Fuel Gauge Wizard. It allows you to fit say a VDO dip type sender to your alloy tank and match it to the standard gauge.
