    Bodywork/fab recommendations, Essex

    Apologies if this is in the wrong place, I'm after recommendations for bodyshops for a bit of work on my 100E. The car's in Colchester but I work in Basildon so local to either or anywhere in between is good. It was painted not long ago (a mere 12 years or so) at R&J Motors in Rayleigh so I'll be asking them anyway but if anybody knows anybody good so I can shop around a bit or they don't fancy it. A few pic's for the casual observer.

    I need the bulkhead cutting and insetting, possibly welding in gearbox tunnel, so a bit of fab work, like so;

    Fuel-filler hole closing up and new rear arches (fibreglass/carbon fibre) grafting on, these beauties;

    Cheers in advance, Jim

    I think most people on here would agree its hard to beat Gary at Retromotorsport for fab work.
    He's in Essex as well.

    Thanks chaps.

    Don't really do gashbook, has anybody got a number/email address for Gary?

    Also been told;
    Andy's Auto Body down in Rochester,
    Tiger Racing in Wisbech,
    Mid-Beds Vehicle Restorations,
    Anybody got any experience of these?

    Doesn't seem to be too many bang on my doorstep, don't know why I thought there would be.

    Cheers, Jim

    Der, yeah, course.

    I've PM'd him so I don't disturb his holiday.
