Weber Ram Pipes into Jenvey TB's

As the title really - I have Jenvey 45mm TB's with Jenvey bell mouths which i've heard aren't the best for flow so was thinking substitute for Weber types which apparently flow better. Anyone know if the webers will slide in the TB's without mods? Plus how close would you allow between pipe opening and a filter case lid - i', thinking 20 - 25mm?

no weber ram pipes wont slide into jenvey 45's, as for clearance it seems to vary from motor to motor some work well with very little clearance, my guess is you have a pulse plate effect going on, but most installations you need at least 25mm.

dave walkers adjustable trumpets will slide up the inside of jenveys there thin wall design means the engine doesnt see the slight reduction in tb bore, the butterfly is the restriction there anyway.
