Re: Mk1 cossie in the USA
Its in the US because i brought it with me when i moved here last year. It takes the piss out of most things on the road here, but i dont like driving along the freeway with a massive Escalade or a Lincoln Navigator SUV on 23" rims sat up my arse! If one of those hits me i'll be crushed in the tiny Mk1.. gotta be careful.
I'm trying to keep it mostly original apart from the motor/running gear/chassis etc.. (a proper sleeper).
Cheers for doing the pics... Heres some of the motor etc.

Re: Mk1 cossie in the USA
Ha ha, i knew there would be at least 1 other mk1 escy in the US! Is one of them yours, or are there any in MD?
I'm in Baltimore.
Do you know any decent tracks/clubs/places over here, near Balto, to go and thrash it around?

Re: Mk1 cossie in the USA
I'm afraid I don't own an Escort over here, I left mine back in Oz (in storage) when I moved over here last June. No I have just been chatting with a few people over here online trying to source parts and have come across a few who have Escorts. One I know of is in Florida, the other, an Oz Twink is in Washington state. As for tracks I have no idea what is around here.
As for the weather here in Maryland, I imagine it is pretty similar to back in the UK (being from Australia it all feels bloody cold to me)
BTW David, you didn't sell a Cossie YB motor going back about 4 months ago here did you? (I saw one being sold on eBay in Baltimore)
Cheers
