Escort 6 dial dash wiring

Hello all, does anyone know what wires do what on the rear of a 6 dial dash in a mk1 escort? Reason being that I have one in mine and the temp gauge in the dash does not work but the car has an extra temp gauge that does.
Any ideas?

Guess the dash isnt plugged into the sender then if the aux gauge is?? Look at the sender in the head on the rhs just under the thermostat housing (presuming its a xflow) and see whats connected and then look for the ford wire in that area around the battery tray where the loom is

Off the top of my head, I think the original wire's either red/white or red/black.

There's the colour version
