    New toy

    Im off to Glasgow today to pick up my new toy.
    Flying from Cardiff and driving back 404 miles drive back.
    I suppose that's one way of making sure alls OK

    Lovely :-)

    There's something about the lines of the 944 (I think it's the front wings and the headlights) that make me prefer it to the later 968. Is it the 2.5 or 3.0?

    The Porsches of that era are really well put together. They really are built like tanks.

    Parts, I've found to be hit and miss - loads of service items are pretty reasonable, no more than your average Ford or Audi. But other things are eye wateringly expensive - front discs on my 911 for example, driveshafts and cv joints, bottom wishbones, etc.

    Its the 3.0 16 v
    As for parts Compared to what the Old school fords Ifind that they aint to pricey also you can still get most things

    Yeah, the back catalogue of parts is pretty good, considering the age of some of these things.
