Spent most of my time filming the action then I remembered to take a few still pictures
It's not a Ford but I really liked this Triumph
I have got about an hour of video to try and edit too

that mk1 cortina is BEAUTIFUL!
I reckon this is the quickest mk2 4 pot in this country! Well done to terry for getting a 10.9 quarter mile! @ 129mph The car is an animal, and if it had nos then who knows what it would do!
anybody know the full spec of that car?
Basically the rear end is a ladder bar set up,same as the drag racing cars. The engine is a studded 200 block, knife edged crank (revs to 8000rpm) BD14 inlet BD10 Exhaust. GT30 Turbo with external waistgate running 2.5 bar. Siemens 1000cc injectors. Mapped by norris motorsport,Thats about it. Fast as fook though
Kev's almost right except its BD14 exhaust and only running 2 bar .
terry.
Ok thanks for correcting mescort1 said:

ladder bars seem work well for the 1/4 is it possable to fit these bars so they can be removed? so you could have your normal tarmac set up for track days, then you could bolt up these bars for the 1/4 mile
You can adjust your 4 link to work in the same way, when yours goes to garys he can show you how its done
Something like this, pinched it from some aussie site. Im going to try this when i go go up there next i think
mmmmmmmmm so many nice cars, gutted i couldnt go because of fucking work
cheers kev
