1964 Mk1 pre-aeroflow Cortina trackday / racecar unfinished project
It is with aregistered in my name the body work is in excellent straight condition and the quality of the paint is superb, possibly too good to be used as on a track and has always been stored in a dry garage. All the major work has been done for the new owner to finish off to their specification.
Here is a list of the work done:
Body
- Fully stripped and put on a roll-over jig
- All rust removed and new metal grafted in
- Full re-spray in near to original colour with addition of off white Lotus stripe – this is a really good paint job
- Underside cleaned and coated in shutz
- the only down side is the front N/S valance closing panel needs a repair, I have made a section and treated the rust but not welded in place, I considering gluing so the engine paint work doesn't get damaged.
InteriorRunning gear
- Striped out and painted in off white to match the side-stripe
- FIA approved OMP roll cage with removable door-bars fitted just needs bolting down
