    Best way to do rust

    I have a small area of rust on my Nissan, what's the best way to go about it

    get it down to clean metal with flappy paddle on grinder
    rust treatment - that por 15 stuff?

    etch primer

    filler

    then primer?

    if it was mine i would mask round it and spot sand blast it
    then depending what it looked like then decide how to sort out finishing it

    I would cut it out and weld new in butt I have the gear to do so Butt I no not every one duz

    What part is it? Drip rail to slam panel?

    First thing is you need to know how many bits of panels join together in that one area, that's what I cant make out from the pics

    i would cut it out two because it will come back
