No pictures but mine are screwed directly into the cylinders

Has been done but I question the 'sanity' of doing so - Things that can't be readily seen - don't get checked and getting fluid into them, when mounted behind the dash, is, I imagine, a gynaecologists nightmare!
had a mk1 fast road/track car i bought had them in the heater vent holes.

You could mount then under the dash on the passenger side or in the rear quarter like Den motorsport

Before I forget as it's late,
Maybe we could do 1 pot sectioned into 3 outlets with one inlet just above the pedals being fed by a single pot the size of 1 section volume with a fluid level light connected - we can place that somewhere easier to access.
you don't have to see them if they have fluid level lights.

clocks out,funnel and length of tube, easy. as to checking them its a get on your knees job with a torch. i hated the look of em so decided to hide them screwing them on direct to cylinders.
