    Jenvey direct to head tb's

Hi, does anyone know if the throttle bodies as per this auction
    https://touch.trademe.co.nz/motors/l...iew/1006996198

would fit into an escort engine bay correctly. The thing I'm concerned about is the angle at which they sit. I've seen a few that are angled upwards and these look straight - does it matter much? It seems harder than it shold be to find out info on them, although the raceline site talks about these a little I'm still not clear if it matters.

    Thanks.

    I assume they are these:

According to jenvey the injectors and fuel rail are underneath so they are pictured upside down in your link.

The pictures and details may give you more of an idea.

Thanks Craig, pretty sure the 2.5 litre types are a little different although happy to be wrong. I thought the 2.5 ones curved up or something....

they look like the normal Jenvey DTH duratec throttle bodies. http://www.raceline.co.uk/products/p...3&CategoryID=1

If that is the case then yes they fit just fine. I have them in my car.

yes, you could be right, had only seen it on my phone up until now and it does look like its angled. Does this pose an issue in an escort?

the first two are of my engine and the second is someone elses for demonstration purposes. You can see that there is an angle on mounting but is of no issue.

Thanks Roger. I like the sound of longer trumpets, and agree air intake looks an effective but of kit. Cheers

Please note: My engine is installed 13mm offset to the RH side of centre to give more trumpet room and more room for the oil filter/cooler housing. (a bit like the Twinc which was offset around an 1 1/2 " to the left to get the Webers in)
    Cheers.
