£1600 is pretty cheap for a fully built Atlas.

i build atlas axles myself so im shooting myself in the foot a bit here but Ian Evans us such a top fella that i'll happily recommend him, he does what he says, delivers good quality parts on time and is very easy to deal with. One of the best in the business.

Thanks for the useful Information. We were Talking about a very Basic atlas, using an lsd, but mostly group 1 suspension, using my old drum brakes. As i Said, they seemed to be very friendly and as if they know what they're Talking about. I think i'll go with them, as soon as i got all the financial Aspects sorted out.

    cheers helge

shortened standard shafts or new 2-piece items? Is that the price all built up with new bearings and ready to fit? and is it GBP1600 plus vat or inclusive?

    cheers

The shafts they sell I believe are cut and friction welded. He did ued to say that if you broke one he would replace it. Spoke to him when I had an atlas built and he said (at the time) that Jeff Skit welded the axles for him so I went to Jeff Skit direct. Cost me £280 for 47.25" thick tube double pinned, grp1 ends with the spring saddles welded on.
