I would look at your budget first it isnt a small job. Escort suspension will probably be best but this takes a lot of work to get right depending on install etc. I think there are better engines out there now which would be easier Duratec turbo maybe ??
shortened atlas on milton 4 link for rear. depends how extreme you want to take it.

I will look for a link on here as a member did this and it is awesome but look at the work involved to do it nicely.

Escort front end is a right PIA to get to fit, mine came with this set up and I have had to do loads of mods to get it to fit (escort is 4 inches wider and a has a bigger face/strut angle - so you need to reduce the TCA's, shorten the rack, fit eccentric tops etc. Long thread on Oldskoolfords 105e section on this). The general wisdom is to fit the cortina uprights with the milton coilover conversion and possibly the rack conversion. If you use the cossie T5/Type 9/RX8 gearbox then you will need a big tunnel and you may need to move the bulkhead back (not sure on that). Exhaust may be a squeeze as it has to wrap round the steering column. Not sure about rear end. There is a maroon 105e cossy with 350hp if you search for this.

Zetec Turbo may be better bet (no need to move bulkhead IIRC, exhaust on passenger side) or even a blacktop/St170 zetec with rotrex supercharger (there is a Sylva Phoenix on locostbuilders, Jeffw, with 400hp form this set up). Other option is 200sx which comes with a 6 speed gearbox free, getting harder to find though.

    Hope this helps.

Escort front suspension fits lovely on an Anglia, the strut top centres are within a 1/4 of an inch c to c of each other so using the escort cross member the suspension angles are the same, you can choose your own castor setting. Obviously the escort is wider so some wing adjustment will probably be required depending what size wheels/ride height is used.

Hi Mark I think you are better off talking to guys on a slightly more specialist ( to 105e) forum.
www.105speed.com join the forum, all relevant info can be found on there.

Milton kit is by far the correct & chosen route, as all correct castor , camber & most of all king oin inclination angles are all correct. No tyre scrub on tight turns (a'la escort stuff)

I think ford know how to design a suspension system and as the escort stuff can fit on an Anglia with exactly the same geometry, I don't see the problem.

So you've driven an anglia with escort suspension ? IMO they are dog shite, toe out on turns is up the wall, off the scale.
    Good luck !

    Re: cosworth powered anglia 105e

LOL I knew the escort / milton debate would start. Any hoo the question is more fitting a cossie in an anglia and the milton stuff while very good uses a reverse rack which sit right in the sump of a cosworth so then you get into shift the engine I suspect halfway into the bulkhead or dry sump maybe (job just gets bigger and bigger).

    http://www.fastcar.co.uk/2011/02/09/...d-ford-anglia/

that also sums up the amount of work to do it nicely and no milton or escort suspension by the looks of it.

    All good discussion tho
