fia appendix rules
hi all im building an fia approved race car for hill climbs. does anybody know where i can download the rules fia? or has there been a build so i can correctly allocate my pipes, battery fuel cell etc in the appropriate places from the start?

Hmm not quite... The MSA requirements can differ from FIA rules... Dont know where or how, but worth finding out whats possible or not.
National MSA rules tend to be more relaxed than FIA stuff and if you want that coveted FIA sticker and logbook then you better get the proper paperwork as well as FIA appeoved cages etc.. (And the automatic value bump up in price when its "FIA-approved")

Not trying to be argumentative but are there any FIA classes that warrant rules for Hillclimbing? I've never heard of international championships only National?

the original posters location shows malta, so i suppose the place to start is whatever the Maltese governing body for motorsport is called

Like here in Denmark.. All historic racing is played by FIA rules.. No local MSA style rule setup... (Which is a pain as you dont get any of those wild modsport style cars like you get in the UK)
Just a bunch of beardy types driving around in cars that comply with homologation papers.. Meh..

i emailed FIA to send me a document updated 2016.
will be using the escort in european hillclimbs abroad mostly so i want it to be a top notch fia Car.
