Setting up ST170 wiring / induction in a kit car on a budget
I have successfully fitted an ST170 engine coupled to an rx8 gearbox and just installed the starter today into a vindicator sprint kit car.
The prop shaft will be fitted tomorrow as will the brakes front and back.
I desperately need assistance with the ECU / Injection / manifold.
I saw a thread where the original ECU was used with a complete wiring diagram but cannot find it anywhere? can anybody send me a link
i am building the car on a budget and would like some assistance in setting it up the cheapest way possible for now, once on the road i will tune and tweak it when funds allow.
im stuck as to what to use for the intake? would it be best to use bike carbs ? if so which would be best?
or is there a modified intake as the standard plenium chamber will not fit.
i have the full wiring loom i can adapt or would it be cheaper/ easier to do away with the standard ECU ?
Apologies for so many questions, if anyone has any pictures id love to see them so as to get an idea of different applications
thanks in advance

I think this is the thread you're talking about

I can't help with your other questions unfortunately, I'm doing a similar thing but going down the emerald k6 ecu route along with some throttle bodies although that appears to be a minefield as from the information I've been reading all the off the shelf manifolds need work to make them match the ports of the ST170 engine, that includes the Jenvey ones!!!

Or for budget
Use a xf or cvh manifold on adapter plate ? Port to suit st head at same time
