cars in resto and got the engine out but the engine was in my mates capri for a while and on his second blast of the 1/4 it slipped a bit and as i am going to be doing a few mods i want it to be reliable. do you know if the will fit. hows your car what engine is in it now i thought about the zetec conversion but it was going to cost too much. i kinda stumbled across the xe conversion when my mate decided to do it as hes a vauchall mechanic he had good knowledge of the engine, and when he decided to take the engine out i got it. his car was realy fast, beat 2.8i's no probs,
have u got any pics of your car sound nice.
    cheers mate

as far as i can see as long as the paddle is the same diameiter as the normal plate it should work.
my zetec was in the mk1 capri ,standard engine not setup with camping gear was doing 15.6 1/4.but sure could go better.took the engine out last feb to tidy car up,them got good mk1 escort shell so the zetecs gone in that.almost done now.as for the capri is bodywork is all done just needs paint(when i can be assed)found myself with a tuned rover v8 complete with rebuilt manul box.only dine 10645 miles since £2000 rebuild.so that going in.but long turm would like to put in 200sx 2.0 turbo engine.dont know why though?
was on 5th gear for about 3 seconds working on engine at nurburgring-the feature about cheap 2.8 being good cars(if only they knew )will try and get some pics up soon.bloody pcs much perfur me tools
