XE Installation pics???

Has anyone got any pics of XE installations, espically chassis engine mounts and sump\crossmember area???
Im currently fitting a XE and type 9 gearbox to my mk2 and am having some problems getting sump clearance and deciding on the exact location of the engine.

A little tip i've heard is to put a piece of wood onto the x-member-1/2-3/4" for clearance (maybe someone can confirm this gap?) then lower the engine onto this so sump is sitting on it-giving desired clearance-then move engine back as far as it will go without fouling bulkhead etc. Then make up chassis mount kit to suit.

This is the way i'll be doing mine-hope it helps in some way-anyone else had any experiences and or tips?

look in "new project absolute begineer"thread, last page i am useing fixed mounts and had to modify the crossmember and grind down the sump(yukspeed)a little ,really thick welds on it still cant get one mount to line up think the crossmember might be a little twisted.

that tip about the wood on crossmember.i do that always use 10mm and never had any problems.

If you are having problems fitting a manta sump do what i did & make your own from a steel sump I found on a chavalier in a breakers. It has the same bolt pattern as any 8v engine.
