Fuel pressure reg for twin carbs fitting.

I've got to the point where I'm ready to fit my fuel lines.

i have an alloy tank in the boot, and I have a facet red fuel pump (I think) and a filter King regulator and filter,
2.0 pinto with twin 40 webbers

do do I need a return pipe befor or after the regulator??? Or not at all,

as as its a used tank I'm Gessing it would be a good move to install a filter befor my pump,

I have an alloy mount for the pump and reg,

or 2 pumps and the second would act as a bypass?

Only ever used bike carbs with a pressure regulator been supplied by an in tank injection pump,

Fuelline from tank to Facet pump, no filter. Pressurefeed from pump to regulator, regulator-outlet to carbs, no return.

After testing my pump it appears to be dead, I also have a facet solid state pump, do I need to use the regulator with this pump or can I do away with it.

That's yes you need a regulator, DCOEs need between 3.5 and 4.5psi regulated pressure.

Depends on what type you have; the road type can be used without a regulator.
