Does anyone have any info on the car and owner described in the subject heading apprently it was featured in the December 04 Classic Ford.

Just interested as I live down that way. I am just about to start the resto on my escort, don't really know where to start and wanted to talk to someone local about what to do, where to get work done, what to avoid etc etc.

Any info would be a help

The guy who owned the car has moved to Australia I'm afraid. The last time I spoke to him he was trying to sell the car before he went, but if he didn;t then he said he was going to take it with him.

I know the guy who built the motor. His name is John Read, and you can find out more about him at jreracingengines.com. He is based in Saltash. He now specialises in building engines, although until recently, he had a rally prep. side to his business. I know that just before the magazine came out, the guy who owned it sent a load of large, high quality photos to John. The car has a stunning amount of work done on it. It maybe worth giving JRE a call.
