    Cosworth cam bearings

    Fitting new cams are these too small or is something missing?

    iirc the bearing goes in a carrier which the cap holds down, 2 and 4 wheel drive cams are different as are the bearings iirc

    Don't forget you need a seal kit and spacers too for the bearings.

    I have somewhere a scrap NA 2wd head, if I can ever find it you would be very welcome to the Cam caps assuming they are still with the head.

    I am glad you got sorted out. We sold the Escort with the NA Cosworth engine in the late 90's to buy a 4wd Sierra and then an Escort Cosworth Rally car. Now we are slowly building a Mk 2 with a Pinto in it and then eventually a 2.5 Duratec if time ever permits.
