Electric water pump. Running a rear rad.

Re: Alternative yb alternator
my race car ran an electric waterpump, three fuel pumps, ecu, 8 injectors, fan and lights as needed, all off a 40A alternator and that kept the battery charged, because lights off it only actually needed 20A to run everything

Twin Spal fans
044 pump
holley blue top fuel pump
ignition
pierburg cwa 400 water pump
thats 75amp plus a safety margin. Looking at a minimum 85amp alternator

Re: Alternative yb alternator
I had a big issue with space for my alternator (due to my fabricated manifold & engine quite far back) and purchased a tiny one which gives out 90amp from Brise. Can't tell you if iyt's any good yet as the engine has'nt even been started yet but I found plenty of praise for there products online before purchasing.

Re: Alternative yb alternator
The small Brise alternators are based on the same denso unit I have. You can uprate them but the output at idle goes down. I have spoken to Brise and they do one but no one makes a bracket for the yb for it.
julian Godfrey does a billet bracket but wants over £500 for it!!
