Escort mk2 road/stage rally car

Just thought i'd put a few pics of the escort i'mbuilding at the moment.

I've been building her for about 2 years, these pics were from last year. Will put more on to show how the build is getting on.

spec is :
2.1 pinto on split 48s
5 spd quaife pro box
fully floating baby axle, 5.1 cwp
tension struts
five linked
big gear box and diff tunnel
fully seam welded and skided
big ap front brakes on front
ap 2383 on the back
coil over front legs
every thing on car is new, ever nut and bolt is new.

hope to be finished this summer so i can have some fun.

More photos needed, what was the shell like when you started and would I be being a cheeky sod if I asked how much it's cost you to date. I'm thinking of building a car to the same spec for road rallying.
