4.4 lsd english axel
bias pedal box discs all round
etc etc, built this car myself last year have done 1 nite event with it , lots more on the to do list, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

brecon motor club's gremlin road rally in march , also would like to do the bro caron in febuary but not sure if my baby atlas will be ready by then so mite miss that one, i'm looking to do welsh road rally championship this year, we'll see how the car lasts lol:D

yes it's getting that way i think, 2dr's are worth too much when a 4dr does the same job for a lot less cash, having said that a tidy 4 door fetch's good money now, 5-6 years ago you couldnt give the damm things away, lol,:D

i also have a 2door shell which i built a few years ago to road rally, but thaught it was too good to abuse down the lanes so i built the 4door,!!!!!!!:cool:

yes that was me in that escort, i have also done the y2k rally in 2006 and gremlin in 2007 but had an off whilst lying 7th overall:stu:, i have a few pics of me in the mk4 escort,

this is the mk4 escort when it was my daily driver, then fort i would turn it into road rally car!!

Yeah the 1000 Lanes seemed a real car killer, was marshelling at 3 points on it, Walters, then just outside Breacon, then Walters again in the morning. It was the cars going flat out in Walters that didn't make it to the end!

What engine are you running instead of the turbo lump then?

I been using a Mk4 Xr3i until my Sunbeam is ready and it seems more than capable one i sorted the brakes, tyres and suspension.

Walters, as in Walters arena that's a proper stage event! Its a car killer for sure!

i think i know the road your on about alladdin, used it on the clubs 12 car, if it is, very rough!!

walters is on the mountain between glynneath and ystradgynlais, has a mixture of open cast quarries, forestry etc, its used on wales rally gb, it verry rough in there :D

she started life as a 1.3 popular just has the rs kit, engine is 1600 cvh with stage 3 head, cvh 32 cam, 36dcnf downdraught carb ,lightened & balanced bottom end with rs turbo clutch, , has sierra cosworth 285mm discs on front rs turbo calipers, rs drums, spax adjustables to go on it soon, polybushed, 6pt safetydevices cage, guards, 90 spec recaro's, ashley challenge exhaust, one off clutch cable set up, (no racthet) the list go's on!!!!! my brother uses the car now as i have the mk2!:D

what box are you running? i did try running a s1 lsd in mine, but the bolt pattern on the crown wheel are different, so had to stick with the xr3i one, until the diff dropped! Now using a 1.8 densil, and never come out of 3 on a road rally!

Sounds alot better spec than mine, but iudont want to spend money on it, when u got a rwd toy in the garage
