yes,this car was actually driven by GİLBERT STAEPELARE who became a champion in belgium ,1979 and this car is bought from a big garage and brought by someone in 1983 . that person who bought this car now is not alive and this car has been in turkey for 15 years.that black and white photo actually shows the condition of the car when they buy it and it was grp1 spec. 2.0 pinto motor weber 44 idf vs....
and we start to do some bodyworks . and we didnt know anything escort and it was hard to find escort spares at that time in turkey.it happened like this.this one is the only one rally car actually we race with the others are in the junk yard .you are lucky coz you can find spares easly but i cant.only the way that i cam buy spare from germany by my cousen
