What is "wrong side" to you? If you have a XF/BDA or twink the exhaust is out the car on the LHS. Pintos are out on the RHS 'cos of the german designers just thinking of themselves! (To hell vif ze right hand drives!!)
i got a 1760 x flow. but i seen x flows with exhausts coming out the right hand side rather than the left. i just wanted to know if ashley exhausts were any good and do they come out the right or left side?
Ashleys are such a good fit (Not!) that until they are on the car there is no way of knowing where they will come out.Originally Posted by POO SLINGER
whats the advantages and disadvantages to a bigger bore exhaust?
bigger bore as long as its not too big will usually pick up topend power at the expense of the bottom, too big it will loose you power everywhere just the same as too small will cost power everywhere,
most x/flow work best on 2 inch and no bigger.
my mate used to supply right hand exit exhausts, in 2 and 2.25 inch size, being dead straight they could be worth a little power on SOME motors and were really handy for escorts with V6 motors as you could use a left and right exit exhaust to make a matching exhaust out each side of the car

There is no real right and wrong side. Most manufactures can supply either RH or LH exit systems. Have a look to see if there is anything in the way underneath, eg..Panhard rod.

If you cant fix it with a hammer, use a bigger one!!
ah rite cheers. i might just get a 2" ashley system and then try my best to bodge it in2 place
