More pics to follow but all sorted (at last): Shot blast disk and painted inside, powder-coated spring, all new bolts, brake re-build, all painted and set-up. Had lots of fun finding all odd thread sizes etc. Most complex was buying 3 different spring clamps then eventually making own to remove spring,...

Front engine oil leak solved,.. there’s a small hole in the Aux drive shaft cover plate, the hole alignment was in the middle of the rear of the seal, oil was dripping through it!
Part no: 72HM-6059-AA
Where the case circles are the alloy is very thin the other side is not far off wearing through also,.. will TIG weld both up tomorrow.

Oil leak sorted,.. not a drop however now developed an issue with timing belt, wants to walk off Cam pulley after 10 mins running. All stripped again (yes was tight). Aux pulley is slightly proud of bottom crank pulley (2mm) and approx 5mm out from Top Cam pulley? Presume they should all be bang on? Never noticed before but not had issue?
Also noticed a tiny amount of movement in Aux pulley shaft (dizzy drive)?

aux pulley was probably fitted the wrong way round and belt guide washer was probably missing from behind the crank pulley
After removing rocker cover (again), the whole camshaft had slipped backwards a couple on mm. The rear clamp had loosened and allowed whole thing to slip back. All re aligned and tightened, very luck no further damage! Thanks for the kind words some other updates completed over last couple of years will update when I can

Thanks

They should be Imperial, sort of m8 equivalent either, 5/16-18tpi(unc) or 5/16-24tpi(unf). I can't remember if they'll be a coarse or fine thread, but I think they'll be coarse.
What make is the vernier pulley on the engine please, it looks nice. I love blue pulleys
Thanks for that mate (thread file just bought ). I have a spare in the Garage, no idea why i bought 2, DM me

Can anyone tell me this Nut size on end of Drive shaft? After pressing new bearing on to shaft, have slight damage to end of thread, tried to wind black nut on but now damaged that thread. So bought new nut from Burtons but only half thickness (presume standard). If i can identify thread exactly will order a die to re-cut start of Shaft thread.
