wanted: a known good st170 engine

well before I bite the bullet and buy a new blacktop 2.0 after piston ring failure on my 170 lump.. has anyone got a known good st170 engine?
I cannot stress the "known good" part enough.
if anyone is breaking one up I can hear running or can guarantee it is a good engine? then please let me know ASAP before I go a different route.
located in the south east BUT I am willing to travel within reason.

i have one IN BITS, it was stripped with a view to rebuilding, crank, bearings etc were/are mint. but the customer vanished off the face of the planet years ago so its just sat around in bits. you could buy it as is, or i could reassemble with new rings and gaskets etc

I have one needing rings .. but have outweighed the cost and i dont think its worth it. PM me a cost of it all built uppkease only really need a fully built bottom end i have a few good heads here

I just bought a full running car with mot for £250 car was rough but engine was good only done 80k I used the car for 3 months then decided not to bother pullling the engine and sold it to a mate who is still using it
