Xflow wet spark plug threaded seats

    Greetings to everyone from Latvia!
I am Eriks and I am the owner of escort mk2. Such a car is a real rarity here!
My escort has a 1700 xflow engine with a Kent 224 camshaft that I recently rebuilt. Since the repair, I have driven 1200 km and noticed that the spark plug seats and ring are wet with oil. If I remove the spark plugs and wipe the seats and thread, it will be wet again after a short drive. The engine is dry, nothing is going anywhere, the valve cover is dry. There is no such thing as a flood, but I didn't notice anything like that before the repairs. The engine works well in size compression cylinders - 1/175, 2/175 /, 3/175, 4/180 psi. Sparkplugs BP7ES.
Crankcase ventilation is standard Xflow. Crank ventilation system with breather valve connected to carb 32/32 DGAV.
What could it be related to?

    99% it's a leaking valve cover gasket.

Alloy rocker covers sadly don't like original cork gaskets, they usualy weep.
I'm sure a card based gasket glued to the cover will cure your problem.

Does he have an alloy rocker cover? Must have missed that.
Anyway, like said above check gasket and valve cover for cracks.
