I have a pair of fibre glass wings to fit but might wait if the prices aren't high.

Well done that man for the time, effort and money invested so far, hope it all works out for you, I may hold off fitting my fibreglass wings now. I never thought the thread would turn into this when I asked that seemingly simple question over twelve months ago.

i am 2 yrs now at these,, i was promised by a factory that we sub contracted to for samples last june, eventully came octber and were crap to be honest, changed to a different plant now and all is well,, i have watched the debate here but i just coulnt speak up till i was 100% sure, i know what 2nd hand ones were makin here we were payin cose to 500st each for good ones, expect a lot less, deal direct with hadrians or his agents is best bet,, i know if i retail them i will make alot more ,, but retail aint my game, it was the buzz and thrill and uncertainty of this that made me do it,, ill just move on and do mk2 doors next or rear quarters,, again they are making huge money here for the rally boys and cant be got,, what would a rally be without a mk2???? huh..

so your trying to de-value my 2 pairs of good s/h mex wings osr why not try to get mk2 shells made,looks like they are getting used up too quickly in motorsport .i do often wonder where the rally boys keep finding r 1/4's from good work getting panels made and keeping our cars alive

What about the possibility of mk1 door handles-both early & late maybe in stainless?? Early ones would be easier as they are the same left/right hand side.

the next project is mainly a rally driven project,, its rear quarter panels for the mk2 they are next,, followed by the mk1 ind units and then maybe mk2 doors, for the 2 door of course,,

well the samples are on the way here,, a pair of mex ones and a pair of std ones,
they will be trial fitted to a car to make sure they are a good fit,
if all goes well they new wings will then be here in about 6 to 8 weeks..

i just make em ,,,, the main stockist will be hadrians in uk,, so thats where to go for them,, i am in no position to dictate to them what they should sell at,,
sorry guys,, honestly i just made them to prove it could be done,, same with grilles,, because there was so much talk about no wings and imposibe and too expensive etc, ok it was expensive,, so i do have to cover the cost of all the tooling,, im not doin it for charity,, but i believe there are enough escorts out there needing wings and the rally boys will add to this,,
ball park figure, about half what good 2nd hand ones fetch now,,, thats what i would like to see them retail at,, but as i said,, its not my call,,
