Just picked this up off (d8vyr) off here, Its a 1978 fiat 128c,i have only had about an hour or 2 with itsince picking it up, having a little poke around and that and assessing the damage, just got to get her birthday out the way then we shall begin

Ahh…. that takes me back, these were very popular for grass track racing in ireland in the 80’s and early 90’s, I used to race a 127, which didn’t handle nearly as well as the 128.

A Uno Turbo engine and box should bolt straight in….

yeah, he had a good few on his drive like haha

Its only the 1100 at the minute, but that wont be there for too long i dont think, makes an awfull lot of noise and doesnt really seem to go anywhere haha

...

I hadnt even thought about the Uno turbo, forgot all about it ... There little 1300's arent they, think they are about 100 bhp ... a fair few more than what she has now then haha...

As for plans, i think for now, the main concern is body work, got sum real sore spots that need a bit of attention,

I would like to finish it in a pastelle colour, sumthin either like a pale green (like a chocolate lime) u know the little sweets, or maybe just a nice sky blue, no metalics though, pastelles only.

as for bodywork, arse end should look sumthin like this



swap those lada lights for sumthin more to this, drop its stance a good 40 mm or so and then find sum Small dished wheels for it (pretty much like the ones pictured)

I would love to find sum wheel like these for it,



Anyone know where i can find wheels like that, what style are they and what size ruffly (13x7 or 8 or wot )

As for the front i havent got a clue, all i know is, ...

well i still think the wee car is luverly and would look good dropped a couple of inch and fitted with an x19 engine like the rally boys on the 128 site. cheers davy.....here bill, hows your car coming on then m8
