golf wont start !!!!

still having fun with this golf

thought id get it done while i was off work this week as ive not had much time to get near it with work & stuff

so now ive sorted the firing order out (thanks to all who repleyed

) changed the dizzycap & rotor arm as they looked rough STILL wont fire up tested for fuel & spark all good so what am i missing

tries to fire but just wont catch

the car is a 1.4 golf on a L plate someone help me please i know its something stupid

change the plugs, if you have been trying it previously with teh wrong firing order some of them are probably fouled with wet fuel

cleaned them all up after each failed start & spun the engine over to get any fuel out then left it 10 mins before putting plugs back in

looks like a garage might have to look at it or join the RAC

cheers anyway i know its hard to say what it is when you dont know what ive done & you cant see the car

it will be the throttle body thier notorious for the tps going down if you take the air filter off and hold throttle to the floor then crank it might just start but will run crap until warmed thru think you have to replace whole tb as they not sold seperatly hth.
