Mk1 Fiesta hillclimb / sprint car - Scotland

Pics of my wee bros hillclimb / sprint Mk1 Fiesta.

It was running a 1660 x-flowin the pics but is currently getting an 1800cc Zetec fitted along with 5 speed gearbox.......more pics to follow once the Zetec is in !

ive seen some of the cars in the back ground at the doune hill climb. never seen the supersport there though

Use to see an orange / red mk1 fiesta at Doune hillclimb every time i went, think it was Laurna Smith's before she moved into rallying.

If its road legal up here (tax, MOT, insurance) then it runs in the road car class. I'll be out this weekend (Boyndie) in an MG ZR rear wheeldrive rally car with 230bhp XE engine and it'll be running in the road class too !

The car belongs to my younger brother and he has yet to compete with it yet although the pics are at Doune hillclimb when Aonghus Drummond had the car.

Lorna Smith and her dad Andrew had a Mk1 Fiesta powered by a 190 bhp x-flow. As far as I know they still have it. I think it still holds records throughout Scotland from when David Patterson had it. It was seriously light & very, very quick car.
