    Trainspotting

We went trainspotting today to test out my new anorak.
There is a steam train that runs from Liverpool to Holyhead every Sunday, today we went off out to watch it go by.
It stops at Llandudno Junction for an hour, which gave us plenty of chance to get infront of it again.

Somehow these things often look better in black and white.

There's gotta be a way of bringing those things back. I'd use the train all the time if it meant riding behind something like that (minus the soot).

    Re: Trainspotting

I'd use the train more if it took me directly to where I wanted to go, quicker and cheaper than I can drive it

Great pics though Dave, never see anything interesting on the lines around me.

    Re: Trainspotting

thats the whole problem with public transport it has to be way cheaper than you can drive to make up for the inconvieniece of it not going door to door,

i went on a bus the other day with the girlfriend and her parents, it cost £3.30 EACH to do a 2 mile return trip, for what it cost us i could drive the same journey in my passat about 75 times!!!!!!!!!

    Nice pics Dave.
We're lucky enough to have have Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends during the school breaks on one of the tracks local to us.

I'm with you there, the Tube is a nightmare if its busy, roofs to low to stand up straight, bus seats to close together cant sit with me legs straight or me knees are jammed against the seat in front, i'd rather drive and be comfy (mind you i even had to get the seat mounts lowered in me Range Rover to stop me head hitting the ceiling )
