Audi 1.9 tdi tuning

Hello people,

Just invested in a 1999 Audi a4 tdi auto, lovely car to drive, just fancy a bit more kick!
I know hardly anything about Audi's and their potential, what can be done to increase the power?
Is the boost controlled electronicly? Or can I increase it by getting the spanners out?
I take it cause it's a diesel it's pretty much bulletproof so no need for internals to be changed?
Will an increase in boost effect the auto box?
If anyone has had any experience with these engines any info would be appriciated!

you can have them chipped to increase performance no internal mods needed auto box should be ok

Right ok, is it a bluefin type thing or an ecu jobbie? I'll look around for it
