    Tilt/Angle of DCOEs?

I've run into a clearance problem between the carbs and the footwells in my MGB. To gain clearance enough to fit proper air filters I'm considering modifying my manifold so that the carbs trumpets point more skywards. My question is what is accepted max degrees of tilt for the DCOEs?
