rs tubo gearbox ?????

might seem like a silly question but im rebuildin a s2 and iv been told that the s1 gearbox is a limited slip box is this true n will it built on to a s2 ????

Both the s1 and s2 boxes had lsd as std, the s1 box will go into a s2, but the s2 wont go into a s1 because they dont have the threads to fit the front mount to it.

s1 boxes had a lower final drive ratio so acceration wil be better,

thanxs guys so ill get myself a s1 box and bolt it to my s2 engine so it will defo bolt allright

you will just need to rob the bolts from the s2 to allow the cradle to mount the box, other than that itll fit straight in.
