    2.8 hubs - wheel BRG

    Dead basic but its holding me up...
    Having fitted new front legs/willwoods, can anyone tell me the torque setting of the wheel bearing nut for a 2.8 strut?.Don't really wanna set em by feel

    IIRC the manual says hand tight, then an extra 1/4 turn. It's definitely best to do them by feel

    yes feel is deffo best i think the actual torque fig is only about 3 lbft!

    i usually just nip the nut using a normal pair of pliers held end on then back off a fraction

    turn the hub backwards as you are tightening the nut, it settles the bearing.
